Matthew Iwane

Matthew is a senior majoring in electrical engineering (systems) at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. After graduation, he would like to find a challenging and rewarding job in Hawaii. Outside of school, he likes to go to the gym, watch sports, and eat.

Q: What inspired you to join HKN?

I joined HKN to meet people in my major and develop professional skills.

Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island?

My hometown is Pearl City and my favorite place on the island is Makua beach.

Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?

The amazing race so that I could travel the world and possibly win money.

Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?

I’d probably like to meet Conor McGregor.
