Q: Where is your hometown?

My hometown is Aiea.

Q: What are your hobbies, outside of engineering?

I love to sing and play the guitar. I’d like to eventually learn how to play an array of instruments just for the enjoyment of being able to express myself in a musical aspect.

Q: What are your engineering related interests?

I like to “make due” with what I got in order to solve everyday problems. I’ve coined the phrase “engineer it” whenever I’m within a group that has to solve an unexpected problem with random items at our disposal. I’ve come to love doing this whenever I can because it requires a flexible way of thinking.

Q: What are your career aspirations?

In the near future I’d like to get a career in the alternative energy field. I hope to create something that will leave a mark in the clean energy industry.
