Q: What inspired you to join HKN?

I was inspired to join HKN because of the volunteer tutoring sessions they host and to get to know my classmates better.

Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on island?

I grew up mostly in Honolulu, Hawaii. My favorite place to go is Kaka’ako Waterfront park since it’s a great place to enjoy the waves without being so crowded.

Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?

I would want to live in the world of Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End since I really enjoy the scenery and world building of that show.

Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?

I want to achieve conversational fluency in my parents’ native languages (German and Cantonese) as to not lose the connections I have to their cultures (to be able to order at restaurants and not have my family translate for me).
