Guanchen Wu

Guanchen Wu is currently a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. With a strong interest in problem-solving and innovation, he is dedicated to exploring various aspects of electrical engineering, with a focus on circuits, electromagnetic, and cutting-edge technology. Outside of academics, he enjoys swimming, hiking, and playing video games.

Q: What Inspired You to Join HKN?

I joined HKN to connect with more engineering students and become more engaged in the engineering community.

Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island?

My hometown is Kalihi, and my favorite place on the island would be Hanauma Bay.

Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?

I would like to live in the world of “Pokemon” because it’s full of adventure and exploration. It is nice to travel and meet incredible creatures.

Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?

I’d love to travel the world and experience a variety of cultures.
