Emily Lei

Emily is currently a junior majoring in Electrical Engineering, planning to go into the electro-physics track at the University of Hawaii at Manoa. She is unsure of her academic interests. Emily plans to do the BAM program at UH Manoa and after graduating, she plans to pursue a career in electrical engineering. Outside of school, she enjoys hanging out with friends and exploring the outdoors.

Q: What Inspired You to Join HKN?

I joined HKN because I thought it was a nice opportunity to meet and connect with other electrical engineering students.

Q: Where is your hometown and favorite place on the island?

I was born and raised in Honolulu. I don’t have a favorite place but I enjoy hanging out with friends around Ala Moana.

Q: What video game / movie / TV show would you want to live in and why?

A video game I’d like to live in is Sky: Children of Light. It’s a very peaceful and beautiful place to adventure in. Being able to fly would also be a perk.

Q: What would you like to accomplish the most from your “bucket” list?

I would like to travel outside of Hawaii during winter to experience snow.
